Reckless government and personal spending and debts got us into this mess, so the cure that the FEDs are recommending is still greater reckless spending and debts we won't be able to repay as a nation. One question Government should be asking is what can we do to make the country (including our obese-sclerotic-FEDs) more efficient, a question unasked or and left unanswered since Reagan. The current groups of National Economic Advisers for both parties (same advice) reminds me of the TV ad where Monkeys are beating on the engine of the car to make it go. The results of Keynes speak for themselves, failure.

I've tested the Download link using all of the major browsers loaded on a Vista workstation. If anyone encountering problems downloading would like to supply additional information that may help me track down the problem, please click the IIP Webmaster link above and then start a conversation or send an email. I'm happy to help.

If you are running FIREFOX you will have to list ADOBE.COM as a site you will allow downloads from, If you don't know how to do it, its in the tools, options, main, manage add-ons. It takes some getting use to.

In response to Dave Stang: Older versions of Adobe Reader contain security vulnerabilities which can be exploited to take control of the affected machine. You can read more about the issue here: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb07-18.html You should update to Version 9 if possible...

As a busy person I resent having my time wasted. That is exactly what investors insight has done by giving the first few paragraphs of John Mauldin's weekly letter, and then having a reader click to download the balance of the letter. If I go to the letter, I obviously want to read it- so don't waste my time.

Since I was already a member, all I had to do was click the Download link. I think some people would complain if you gave them a wrinkled $100 bill. So keep doing what you're doing. I understand a site needs members to survive. Thank you!

Javier, try copy/pasting this link into your browser while logged into the site: http://www.investorsinsight.com/media/p/2686/download.aspx Please let me know what happens. I need to know things like: Did you encounter an error? What browser are you using? What OS? Does the browser just hang? Are you on a dialup connection? ...Or anything else you think may help shed some light.
